Setting up the OpenEdge Unified Broker environment

You might need to perform the following tasks before you start a Unified Broker instance:

Set the standard OpenEdge environment variables (for example, DLC) on the Unified Broker machine.
Decide where to put your Unified Broker log files.
Perform other preparations, depending on your product and configuration.
